This GPS tracker requires a SIM card.

Please follow this guide B if you use included IoT SIM card.

 

Section 1: Quick Start(5-Minute Guide)

1. Insert the IoT SIM & Power On

2. Download the App

(1)Search for WINNES GPS in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, or scan the QR code.

(2)Web Platform: www.mytkstar.net

3.Login

(1)Enter the ID Number (on the tracker back) and Initial Password (last 4 digits of the ID Number)

(2)Tap “Login” – the tracker will connect automatically.

The first GPS positioning may take 2-5 minutes in an open outdoor environment.

l 1-day free trial is available for the data service.

l The SIM card only works with this GPS tracker (not for other devices).

l Coverage:Supports US, Canada, Mexico, China, UK, and 27 EU countries.

l This SIM Card includes only 5 SMS credits. Once used,the SMS function will be permanently disabled.

Section 3: Troubleshooting (FAQ)

If you previously used a personal SIM card and want to switch back to the included IoT SIM, you can email support@mytkstar.com to reset the APN settings.

Q1: Why is location not updating after subscription?

Sleep Mode:The device enters sleep mode when stationary. Move or vibrate the tracker to wake it up.

Signal: Ensure the device is in an open area; signals are blocked in indoor or underground garages.

 

Q2: The App shows "Not Enabled" or no "Subscribe" button?

Please email support@mytkstar.com with your Device ID and SIM ICCID number for activation.

 

Q3: The App status shows “inactive”for over 24 hours ?

Move the device to trigger a network refresh. If it remains inactive, contact support to check SIM connectivity

 

Q4: How do I cancel a subscription?

In-App: Go to“top-up renewal" → My Subscriptions → Stop Subscription to disable auto-renewal.

Payment Provider: Log in to your PayPal or credit card account to cancel recurring payments.
